These Terms & Conditions set out how Odette (“I”, “me”, or “my”) works with clients and users of this website. By engaging my services or using this website, you agree to these terms.

About Odette

Odette is operated by Elizabeth Elcoate, providing operational, project, and support services to creatives and small teams.

Working together

All work is agreed in advance, either via email, proposal, or written confirmation.
The scope, timescale, and fees will be outlined before any work begins.

Any changes to the agreed scope may require additional time and fees, which will always be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

Services

Services may include (but are not limited to):

  • One-off project support

  • Fixed-price setup work (Foundations)

  • Ongoing monthly support

Services are provided with reasonable care and skill but are not guaranteed to achieve specific outcomes unless explicitly agreed.

Fees & payment

Fees are outlined in advance and are payable according to the agreed terms.

  • Fixed-price work is invoiced as agreed prior to or during delivery

  • Monthly support is billed in advance on a monthly basis

  • Additional hours (if agreed) are billed separately

Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Late payments may result in work being paused until payment is received.

Confidentiality

Any confidential information shared during the course of work will be treated with care and will not be disclosed to third parties without permission, unless required by law.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • You retain ownership of any content, materials, or data you provide

  • Ownership of work created by Odette transfers to you once full payment has been received

Odette retains the right to reference work in a portfolio or case study unless confidentiality has been explicitly agreed.

Limitation of liability

While all reasonable care is taken, Odette is not liable for:

  • Losses resulting from third-party tools or platforms

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Issues arising from information or materials supplied by the client

Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement by providing reasonable notice.

For ongoing monthly support, notice should be given before the next billing cycle. Any work completed up to the termination date remains payable.
