These Terms & Conditions set out how Odette (“I”, “me”, or “my”) works with clients and users of this website. By engaging my services or using this website, you agree to these terms.
About Odette
Odette is operated by Elizabeth Elcoate, providing operational, project, and support services to creatives and small teams.
Working together
All work is agreed in advance, either via email, proposal, or written confirmation.
The scope, timescale, and fees will be outlined before any work begins.
Any changes to the agreed scope may require additional time and fees, which will always be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
Services
Services may include (but are not limited to):
One-off project support
Fixed-price setup work (Foundations)
Ongoing monthly support
Services are provided with reasonable care and skill but are not guaranteed to achieve specific outcomes unless explicitly agreed.
Fees & payment
Fees are outlined in advance and are payable according to the agreed terms.
Fixed-price work is invoiced as agreed prior to or during delivery
Monthly support is billed in advance on a monthly basis
Additional hours (if agreed) are billed separately
Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Late payments may result in work being paused until payment is received.
Confidentiality
Any confidential information shared during the course of work will be treated with care and will not be disclosed to third parties without permission, unless required by law.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
You retain ownership of any content, materials, or data you provide
Ownership of work created by Odette transfers to you once full payment has been received
Odette retains the right to reference work in a portfolio or case study unless confidentiality has been explicitly agreed.
Limitation of liability
While all reasonable care is taken, Odette is not liable for:
Losses resulting from third-party tools or platforms
Indirect or consequential losses
Issues arising from information or materials supplied by the client
Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
Ending an engagement
Either party may end an engagement by providing reasonable notice.
For ongoing monthly support, notice should be given before the next billing cycle. Any work completed up to the termination date remains payable.
Website use
Content on this website is provided for general information only and may be updated or changed without notice.
Unauthorised use of website content is not permitted.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
