Accessibility statement
Accessibility matters deeply to me, both personally and professionally.
Odette is built with the intention of being as clear, calm, and accessible as possible - for disabled, neurodivergent, and non-disabled users alike.
My approach to accessibility
I aim to:
Use clear, plain language throughout the site
Design pages that are easy to navigate and not overwhelming
Avoid unnecessary visual noise or complexity
Consider colour contrast, spacing, and readability
Build systems and processes that support different ways of thinking and working
Accessibility is not a one-off task, and I recognise that I may not always get everything right.
Ongoing improvements
This website is a work in progress. I’m committed to reviewing and improving accessibility over time as tools, standards, and understanding evolve.
If something on this site isn’t working for you, I want to know.
Getting in touch
If you experience any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for how this site could be improved, please get in touch:
Email: hello@elizabethelcoate.com
I will always do my best to listen and respond thoughtfully.
Working accessibly
Accessibility also shapes how I work with clients.
Support is flexible, communication is clear, and systems are designed to reduce friction rather than add it. If you have specific access needs, you’re welcome to raise them at any point.
